Meets MSS SP-81 shutoff requirement of 40 cc per inch per minute at 40 psi (water test)
Port diameter exceeds requirements of MSS SP-81 and is equal to SCH 40 pipe through full size range
Precision beveled gate to cut through solids
Gate edge is beveled to enhance packing life
New 4-Post Yoke features top-removal stem nut and can be field modified to bevel gear or air cylinder without welding

Stainless Bolted Body knife Gate Valve, SB1700, 2-24
Two-way zero leakage shut-off from full vacuum to the rated pressure of 150 psi
True bi-directional flow and shut-off can be installed in either direction
Seat is outside the flow area resulting in higher C, with minimum pressure drop
Seat is bolted-in-place and cannot pull out or shift in the body
Optional elastomers include: EPDM-htp (standard), low durometer FKM, nitrile-htp (BUNA-N), natural gum rubber
Superior all-around the gate packing requires lower maintenance
Bolted body makes for simple access and seat replacement
Integral molded packaging support bar maximizes packing performance and minimizes unwanted gate drift
