Non-intrusive electric actuators

Multiturn, quarterturn or linear we offer a complete line of non-intrusive actuators.

Non-intrusive actuators allow actuator parameters such as position and torque limits to be set without gaining access to the inside of the actuator. Set-up is accomplished by means of pushbuttons at the actuators local controls. Additional parameters such as positioner functions, programmable indicating lights, programmable output relays and other functions can be set either with the pushbuttons or a PC and cable.

AUMA model SA07.1 through SA16.1 and SG05.1 through SG12.1 can be furnished as non-intrusive actuators. The non-intrusive capability is achieved by sensing position and torque via absolute encoders and AUMATIC controls.
Wide range of capabilities
Multiturn actuators are available up to 309,000 lb (1,375 kN) thrust and 11,800 ft lb (16,000 Nm) torque.
Quarterturn actuators are available up to 184,400 ft-lb (250,000 Nm) torque.
Linear actuators are available up to 48,825 lb (217 kN) thrust.
